At the core of Keating's culture is a "dream team" group of diverse CFO's with a common obsessive passion for startups. While each of these professionals bring their own experience and energy to the table, they work especially well as a team. When one of these experts joins your team as Interim CFO, you benefit from the collective knowledge of the whole group as collaboration runs rampant at Keating.

Here are the team members:

Ryan Keating

Ryan Keating has advised and worked with more than 120 early stage venture capital-seeking and venture-backed companies, several as the interim CFO. Ryan possesses an extensive financial and management consulting background from more than 20 years with venture backed companies and large technology and management consulting firms including Microsoft, Salomon Smith Barney and PricewaterhouseCoopers. He attended Boston University, School of Management and holds a degree in Finance and Information Systems.

Andy Cuthill

Andy has more than 13 years of experience as a CFO for small to medium sized companies, as well as several years in senior corporate finance and consulting roles. He's had direct responsibility for Accounting, FP&A, HR, and Operations in those roles, as well as being the point of contact for external parties such as auditors, bankers, and Boards of Directors. In all of his roles, his focus is to structure his teams and processes to align with specific client needs, with the goal of providing outstanding results. Andy's educational background includes a BS in Business Management from Cornell University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Away from work, he enjoys playing golf, tennis, and baseball.

Lisa Viso

Lisa is a highly accomplished, results-driven CFO with over 25 years of finance and operations experience in venture-backed and public companies. She has served several startups and larger companies in all aspects of corporate finance and administration - accounting, finance, legal, human resources, risk management, and real estate. While being a talented, forward-looking strategic thought partner, she also likes to roll up her sleeves and apply her hands-on operational experience. In a startup, the team is everything, and Lisa has a strong track record of building and leading high-performance teams. Lisa also brings to every CFO engagement a strong sense of systems and controls and understands the critical link between finance and accounting. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce in Accounting from Santa Clara University and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).

Management & Operations

The operations and support team at Keating's Silicon Valley office consists of experienced CPAs, controllers, bookkeepers, HR experts, and financial analysts that can help any early stage company in vital operations areas such as: all aspects of accounting, creation of financial projections, human resources and benefit management, facilities, executive level administration, and the development of corporate policies and procedures.

Carolyn Zhang

Lead, Accounting Group

Carolyn has acted as Controller for dozens of Bay Area startups, providing leadership and strategic guidance in fast-growth environments. In her time at Keating Consulting Group, and now EisnerAmper, she has become a thought leader surrounding the specific challenges and rules involved in recurring revenue and SaaS-based business models. Carolyn has a Bachelor's degree in International Economics and Trade from the Beijing University of Chemical Technology and a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of New Hampshire.

Cathy Fisher

Lead Controller, Hardware & Cost Accounting

Trained and qualified as a UK Chartered Accountant with KPMG in London, including an international secondment to Montreal, Canada, then worked in international internal audit with Reed Elsevier (now RELX Group) in London and in Sydney, Australia. Cathy has been working as a controller for Bay Area startups since 2001, including Whitelight (sold to Symphony), Mediabolic (sold to Macrovision, now Rovi), Sling, creators of the ‘SlingBox’ (sold to Echostar) and Cloud Engines, creators of the ‘Pogoplug'. She graduated with an honors degree in Economics from the London School of Economics (University of London).
